ANNEX5 was formed in Hanover / Germany at the beginning of 2003. Front singer Kirsten, who grew up in Canada, sang for VENDETTA, bass player Nico and guitar player Till jammed by OVERNIGHT SENSATION and drummer Björn played for RECHARGE and is also currently playing for AUDIO KOLLAPS.

Musically the three male musicians and the charismatic female singer agreed upon performing a fresh, unique and diverse sound. Powerful melodic female vocals with provoking, not your typical everyday lyrics, padded with furious guitar solos and a hard-driving drum sound. Kick Ass Punk´n´Roll at its best!

In early 2004 the “Out in the Cold“ MCD was recorded and was sold out shortly after its release, Various gigs followed with bands like HANSON BROTHERS, THE BONES and LEATHERFACE.

At the beginning of 2005 the “Demons“ CD was released on Nasty Vinyl / SPV containing 11 songs and 2 video clips which were partially shot at locations in Greece and Canada. Excellent album reviews as well as numerous stunning live performances has gained ANNEX5 an increasing international fan base. Interviews on Rock Hard, Wahrschauer oder videoplay on NBC Giga TV followed.

In February and March 2006 the second album “Sex Rag“ was recorded at Rekorder Studio in Hamburg and produced by Gregor Hennig (TRASHMONKEYS, OOMPH!, PHILIPP BOA, WITT, THE ROBOCOP KRAUS, 200 SACHEN) who perfectly managed to merge striking guitar riffs and diverse vocals into a brilliant sound wall… hearing is believing!!!
